The Best Dollar I Ever Spent
The iPhone app, Angry Birds, is the single most entertaining thing you can get for a dollar. If you have an iPhone or iTouch, get this app today. If you were thinking about getting an iPhone, then let this be the thing that pushes you over the edge. If you don't have an iPhone and weren't considering getting one, then maybe you should.

I am getting an iPad and I will get this game and if it is not good I am going to have kick your ass.
Basically you use a slingshot to shoot birds at these buildings, blocks, boulders, etc. in an attempt to smush the pigs inside them. Not my favorite iPhone game ever, but I agree it's pretty fun and worth the dollar.
Doesn't sound better than Tetris.
Angry Birds is endlessly playable. And redoing the levels trying to get three stars on each one keeps it interesting even after you've beaten all the levels.
It's definitely worth the dollar because of the replayability.
If there's a Tetris app for a dollar, then that's probably worth it, too. A game similar to Tetris is called UnBlock Me that's also a dollar and also worth it for the amount of time you can spend being interested in it.
I don't have an iPhone, I have an iTouch.
