A few weeks ago, LJT put up a post about kids being smart-asses on tests when they don't know the answer. A young man named Peter Nguyen took this a step further and chose to write some rather offbeat essays. Enjoy!

This reeks of urban legend, but couldn't find it on snopes.com so it must be true.
The Walt Whitman essay was dated in the year 2000, but talks about Whitman's Livejournal page. I'm not certain of this, but I don't think Livejournal existed back then.
I looked around and found that Livejournal started in 1999, so there goes your theory, Chuck! Count it!

In that case, read this one. So these three essays are dated from 1999, 2000, and 2004. The one from 2004 is supposedly a college essay based on the header.
That one was good too. I loved the "How could food be so cheap over there?" It's not. They just eat the nickels.
How'd you find that?
